POOL RULES AND REGULATIONS

SAFETY AND SANITATION REQUIREMENTS

Observation and enforcement of the RULES are the responsibility of every HOMEOWNER/RESIDENT.  The following rules apply to all residents and guests for the mutual enjoyment of our recreational pool facility.

1. Pool Hours are from 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM daily.  The pool is staffed by POOL Monitors, instead of lifeguards, on duty from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.* Their responsibilities include, checking all ID’s, and monitoring all pool activities.

2. Homeowners/Residents and Guests must sign in with the Pool Monitor.

SWIMMING IS YOUR OWN RISK

LIFEGUARDS ARE NOT STAFFED AT THE SOUTHPARK 2 POOL.

3. The minimum age for a minor to use the swimming pool without adult supervision is twelve (12) years of age.  Any resident between the ages of twelve (12) and eighteen (18) must show a current pool pass and provide school ID or similar identification for age.

4. Residents are limited to seven (7) guests per household.  Unaccompanied minors of households between the ages of twelve (12) and eighteen (18) are restricted to two (2) guests at any time, who also must be a minimum of twelve (12) years of age and present a student ID or similar identification.

5. Guests must be accompanied at all times by a homeowner/resident or family member.

6. Pool Monitors have responsibility for all activities and safety at the pool.  They have the authority to:

A. Close the pool at any time due to weather or for safety reasons.
B. Remove any person from the pool area who refuses to comply with the pool rules. Repeat offenders may lose pool privileges or have restricted access.
C. Expel any obnoxious, intoxicated or unwelcome person(s) from the pool area.

7. Bicycles, skates, skateboards, etc. are not allowed in the pool area.

8. Pool Monitors are not baby-sitters.  All minors under the age of twelve (12) must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

9. No smoking (at all) in or around the pool area or restrooms. 

10. Pool Monitors are to be treated with respect and obeyed at all times. 

ONCE WARNED OF A VIOLATION AND THE VIOLATION CONTINUES, POLICE WILL BE NOTIFIED

VIOLATIONS OF THE RULES MAY RESULT IN SUSPENSION OF YOUR POOL PRIVILEGES

First Offense - One month suspension of pool privileges.

Second Offense - Action to be taken will be decided by the Board/Association in accordance with the Bylaws, depending on the severity of the violation.

11. Homeowner / Resident pool keys will access the gate entrance to the pool and are strictly for their use.  If lost, contact the Recreation Committee or Pool Monitors.

12. The pool gate is to remain locked at all times.  Each homeowner/resident has a responsibility to ensure the gate is locked.  Please check the latch when entering or exiting.

13. The baby pool is for children ages six (6) and under.  They must be supervised at all times by an adult homeowner/resident or a sitter.  Sitters may not bring guests.  Babies in the pool must wear swim pants.

14. Please do not enter the pool area if you are not in good health. Persons with open sores, bandages, or cuts are not allowed in the pool area for the safety and consideration of others.

15. Glass containers are not permitted.  Please use receptacles provided for trash.

16. Alcohol is permitted in small quantities contained in a cooler (no glass).  Intoxicated persons will be asked to leave.  Absolutely No underage drinking.

17. Ground floor restrooms in the clubhouse are available to swimmers during Pool Monitor hours.  Please be considerate of others when using the restrooms.

18. Pets are not allowed in the pool area.  

19. Rubber and plastic floats, balls, etc. may be used in the pool at the discretion of the Pool Monitor based on pool capacity and safety.

20. Radios are permitted in the pool area providing the volume is kept low.  If the radio is disruptive to the Pool Monitor or others in the area it must be turned off or removed from the pool area.

21. Pool Monitors are provided by the Association.  Please direct any complaints regarding the pool rules, etc., to the Association or Property Manager.

22. Homeowners and residents are responsible for damages they or their guests cause to any part of the pool facility.

23. Homeowners, Residents and members of the Family are not permitted to use the pool, tennis courts, clubhouse, or other amenities if they are delinquent in payment of HOA dues.

Tennis / Pickleball Court Rules

Smile - Be Kind - Don’t Give Up - Have Fun

 

1. Please wear court or sport appropriate shoes with non-scuff soles only.

2. Be considerate.  Keep the courts clean and pick up after yourself.

3. Our courts are for Tennis and Pickleball activities only.

4. NO bicycles, roller boards, skates, etc., or remote-controlled devices are allowed.

5. NO dogs or pets of any kind are permitted on the courts.

6. NO glass is allowed on the courts.

7. Tennis / Pickleball courts are on a first-come, first-serve basis.  If people are waiting to play, please limit your time to a ten (10) minute warm-up period and a one (1) hour period of play.

8. Guests must be accompanied at all times by a homeowner/resident or family member.

9. The minimum age for an unaccompanied minor on the court is twelve (12).

 

SouthPark 2 Tennis / Pickleball courts are for

 the enjoyment and use of our members and their guests ONLY.

Please lock the gate when you have finished using the courts.
